Harbor Excavating and Dredging

Phenco has the capabilities to apply for permits on owner's behalf, increase water depth, and arrange for disposal and restoration of marinas. We also contain and dredge contaminated soils.

Phenco works for various entities doing layout road building, site clearing, golf course grading as well as many other types of projects. We specialize in unusual and difficult projects.

Drilling Caissons

Phenco is able to drill holes for caissons from one to ten foot diameters as deep as 130 feet. There are no site conditions that we would not be able to accommodate.

Demolition

Demolition work ranges from buildings and parking ramps to removal of dams.

Pile Driving

Phenco has the experience and the equipment to design and build all types of retaining walls and sheet piling walls, as well as, drive round piles, H-piles, and wood piles on land or from barges in the water.

Roadway Grading and Excavation

Current and previous projects include both urban and rural sections built for private developers, state and federal government agencies.

Athletic Field Development

Phenco provides general contracting and grading services for municipal, school and non profit agency projects. Projects include site clearing through bleacher installation.

Environmental Services

Tank Cleaning and Removal

Phenco, Inc. has the capabilities of cleaning, removing and disposing of storage tanks per DIHL requirements. Included in the scope of work is full site restoration.

Excavation of Contaminated Materials

This type of work includes: excavation of contaminated soils, trenching for pipe, well construction and hook-up, building equipment and installation, and soil vapor remediation extraction systems. The scope also includes full site restoration.

Inplant Environmental Construction

When working on this type of project, Phenco has the abilities to remove and install concrete, sheetpile for pit construction and to install the remediation system.

Landfill Cell Construction

Landfill Cell Construction includes complete earthwork - site grading, clay and HDPE liner installation, pipe for gas venting and leachate system, and to install clay, PVC, and HDPE caps if closing the landfill.
